Time to look at the August 2016 new releases in the Young Adult genre. At first glance, they are: the first book in a fantasy series, a techy/romantic comedy novel, another first in a post-apocalyptic fantasy series, a typical contemporary teenage high-school novel, and the first in a futuristic, high-tech fantasy series.

Which ones ended up on my to-read list you ask? Actually, all of them, besides number 2. I love a good fantasy series, and the first one reminds me a bit of The Black Magician trilogy, which I loved. The Thousandth Floor sounds like a very interesting, futuristic story that actually reminds me a bit of a Doctor Who episode and also of this new TV series. And the last one reminds so much of Stitchers and I do love books about technological, futuristic advances. And, last but not least, I also want to read A Week of Mondays. I love a good contemporary YA novel, and I also loved Groundhog Day so I think this could be a very interesting mix!
