In my previous post, I talked about what I visited and saw during my four-day city-trip to London. Of course, I also went shopping. I walked through Regent Street and Oxford Street, the two main shopping streets in London. And of course, I also spent quite a lot of time on Charing Cross Road, which is a smaller shopping street, mostly filled with bookshops. Here is an overview of everything I bought in the British capital.
As you can see, it’s mostly tea, books and Harry Potter-themed stuff. I’m not a big fan of coffee, but I do love tea! Nothing beats sitting in my rocking chair with a fleece blanket, a cup of tea and a good book. And since England is the authority on tea, I went to town.At Whittard‘s I got some green leaf tea with dried goji berries which is a sweetened, fruity green tea. I was also swayed by their Toffee Apple tea, it’s like drinking apple pie! And finally, the Apple & Elderflower mix is also really good! And then I also stopped by the French tea chain Marriage Frères for some amazing red tea: Marco Polo Rouge.
And if you read my travel log of what I visited, then you know I stopped by King’s Cross Station to take my picture at Platform 9 3/4. Right next door is a big Harry Potter shop. I didn’t buy the picture their photographer takes, instead I had my mother take some pictures on my phone. But I did go in the story to get some HP goodies! I bought the Hogwarts Classics 2 volume set which contains Quidditch Through the Ages and The Tales of Beedle the Bard. A review of these two small volumes will follow soon! I also purchased Hufflepuff socks, a Deathly Hallows necklace (which my mother really liked, before she knew it came from HP) and the Harry Potter trivial pursuit.
At Charing Cross Road, I also bought a number of books. Reviews will be following over the course of the next few months, I promise! These are the ones that I got:

And since it was already December and it’s impossible to escape the Christmas atmosphere in London, I also caved and bought a new Christmas sweater. I will wear it on the 16th of December to work of course, and I am a big fan. I’m sure I will win this year’s contest of the best Christmas sweater. Because see those little red dots on the snowflakes? Those are lights! This sweater lights up and the lights change colours. It’s too much and I absolutely love it!
