The favourite book of: Martine M.

I have known Martine M. for almost 20 years now. She is a member of the same music group as me, she is in fact the vice president of the board while I take care of communications. In the last few years, she has started to get more and more involved in self-improvement and life coaching. In fact, she has recently opened her own life coaching business: Unalome. So I was very curious to see what her favourite book is!

Martine M. follows the teachings of Louise Hay. But her current favourite book is: The Miracle Morning: The 6 Habits that Will Transform Your Life Before 8 a.m. by Hal Elrod. Here’s the blurb:

Martine sums it up as Hal teaching the reader to live a more successful life, a life that is richer and more fulfilling. He describes how, in 30 days, everybody can work towards more focus and self-awareness, to fulfill their dreams by adopting 6 new habits. The reader is meant to do these exercises before 8 am in the morning.

Hal Elrod is one of the highest rated keynote speakers in America and he created one of the fastest growing and most engaged online communities. This is his most successful book, which has been translated into 27 languages. According to Martine, he wrote this book of self-development after he went through 2 heavy periods in his life; a car accident that nearly killed him and a period of deep depression.

Martine chose it because she thinks it’s an incredibly inspiring book that gives you an incredible mental and positivity boost every morning. She has been using this Miracle Morning method nearly daily for the past 100 days. It has made her realize that we are the creator of our lives, by our mind.

She has told many of her friends and family about this book and has even given it as a present a few times. Everybody has been very enthusiastic about it. And when you really want to grow as a person, it’s almost impossible not to when you realize that mindset is so important. That is how she convinces others to read this book. Reading it makes you so positive and doing the exercises really gives you a wow-feeling and so much more mental energy.
