Summer challenge: Marvel movies

So I have 6 weeks off this summer, and what better to do than fill that time with movies and superheroes? So I’ve put myself the challenge to watch all Marvel superheroes in chronological order, not by release date but according to the timelines in the movies. I’ve already seen most of them, but not the latest 5 or 6 releases, so I’m starting at the beginning to get all caught up!

Of course, there are also TV shows but I haven’t watched those religiously. I watched a few seasons here and there from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. when channel-hopping. I’ve seen some episodes of Jessica Jones, Agent Carter, Daredevil and I even tried out Iron Fist.

This is the order I’ll be watching them in, according to storyline:

  • Captain America: The First Avenger
    • Marvel’s Agent Carter – season 1 and 2
  • Captain Marvel
  • Iron Man
  • Iron Man 2
  • The Incredible Hulk
  • Thor
  • The Avengers
  • Iron Man 3
  • Thor: The Dark World
  • Captain America: The Winter Soldier
    • Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD – season 1
  • Guardians of the Galaxy
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
    • Daredevils – season 1
  • The Avengers: Age of Ultron
    • Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD – season 2
  • Ant-Man
    • Jessica Jones – season 1
    • Daredevil – season 2
  • Captain America: Civil War
    • Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD – season 3
    • Luke Cage – season 1
  • Spiderman Homecoming
  • Doctor Strange
  • Black Panther
    • Iron Fist – season 1
    • Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD – season 4
    • The Defenders – season 1
    • The Inhumans – season 1
  • Thor: Ragnarok
    • The Punisher – season 1
    • Jessica Jones – season 2
    • Luke Cage – season 2
    • Cloak and Dagger – season 1
    • The Runaways – season 1
    • Daredevil – season 3
    • The Punisher – season 2
    • Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD – season 5
    • Iron Fist – season 2
  • Ant-Man and the Wasp
  • Black Widow
  • Avengers: Infinity War
  • Avengers: Endgame
  • Spiderman: Far From Home

Yes, it’s quite a tall order, but I’m up for it. Feel free to read along!

Happy reading,

Loes M.
