BREAKING NEWS: Rowling is writing another children’s story! She announced it on her own website when fans asked her “what are you writing right now?” on May 30th.
I’ve just finished the fourth Galbraith novel, Lethal White, and I’m now writing the screenplay for Fantastic Beasts 3. After that, I’ll be writing another book for children. I’ve been playing with the (non-Harry Potter/wizarding world) story for about six years, so it’s about time I get it down on paper.
So this is a children’s story she has been working on for over six years, and it has nothing to do with Harry Potter. She started playing around with it, back when she published The Casual Vacancy. This will be her first children’s book that has nothing to do with Harry Potter.
That’s about all we know, so far. I can’t wait to read something new by Rowling though! Especially since it’s a new children’s book. I love Rowling’s children’s books! Well, I mean, I loved Harry Potter. So I’m sure I’ll love anything else she writes!
I can’t wait for this book to come out. And for more information about the story as well!
